Next week, brides will have the opportunity to attend our most elegant and exclusive bridal show of the year! On Friday, March 22, Veils, Tails & Cocktails returns to ARIA Resort & Casino and we have all the tips for you to get the best experience out of the show.
Before the Show
If you purchase your tickets in advance you’ll receive $5 off admission. Simply click here to visit Bridal Spectacular’s website and enter promo code VTCBlog. You can also preregister online so you don’t have to register for prizes when you arrive. After you purchase your tickets and preregister, print out both documents and bring them with you in order to skip the line and head directly into the show.
The show opens at 6pm, but be sure to arrive early if you need to register onsite and to pick up your complimentary shopping bag. We recommend using the courtesy valet parking at the Harmon Street entrance. Just follow the signs to the convention center and the Bristlecone Ballroom. Also, keep in the mind the first 200 Brides and Grooms to arrive will receive a complimentary cocktail!
Create a Plan of Attack
Before the show, be sure to see which vendors will be in attendance and do a little research on which companies you may like to work with. If you come prepared with questions and ideas, you’ll be ahead of the game and can start working on details directly at the show. To view the complete vendor list, please click here.
Remember Your Camera
There are going to be so many different wedding vendors and displays from décor, floral, photography, venues, a fashion show and more! It may be difficult to remember exactly what everything looked like, so feel free to take pictures of your favorite styles as you gather inspiration. If you also like the décor style of a vendor’s booth, ask their permission to snap a picture too!
Take Notes
After speaking with all of the vendors and seeing which wedding themes and styles you like best, make sure you have a way to note everything so you can keep in touch with your favorites after the show. You can simply bring a pen and a pad of paper or use your iPad or smart phone to take notes. Also since most vendors handout glossy brochures, we recommend bringing a Sharpie so you can write directly on the materials to easily remember which vendors you may want to work with.
Plan for the Fashion Show
To top off the evening, there will be a designer fashion show at 8:30pm showcasing 2013’s latest bridal gowns and tuxedos. Be sure to plan accordingly to ensure you don’t miss out and get a good seat. The fashion show will include the hottest designs from:
