Demecina and Erik put artistry in motion when thinking of every detail for their Las Vegas Wedding. The full range of their personalities came out on this fun filled wedding day complete with red hot lips, a princess wand, stiletto heals to die for, whimsical mustaches, a ball room first dance and shots of Jameson whiskey with their close friends and family.

The day started with a ‘First Look’, a special encounter where the groom sees his bride for the first time aside from the hoopla of wedding guests and prior to the wedding ceremony.  Lorenz Foto was on hand to capture this moment that took place at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa. Erik had waited 10 years to see his lovely bride in her gorgeous wedding gown, the moment was priceless.

Demecina’s and Erik are no strangers to drama and artistry, as they met 10 years ago in school at the Art Institute of Chicago.  They had seen one another on campus, but they actually met through a mutual friend.  What a GREAT friend. Last year Erik proposed to Demecina on the grand staircase of the museum where they used to go together during their years at the Art Institute. And of course the answer was YES!

Demecina’s being the art lover that she is, had input during the designing of her stunning wedding gown.  The dress was custom made overseas.  Demecina shared, “Ha! my wedding dress? Uuhhhh I guess I sort of designed it?”  Demecina’s had her seamtress change the color to a striking but subtle satin of gold leaf with tulle ivory floral patches; she removed the train altogether as to create a double layer tulle train. Absolutely breathtaking!

Their lovely ceremony started as the golden sun lit rays, to match her gown, stretched westward over the Spring Mountains.  The evening was transformed into a nighttime festive reception at Angel Park Las Vegas. Without a doubt Demecina and Erik’s wedding day had a tremendous amount of style with a twist of laid-back atmosphere. We will miss this dynamic couple, as they head off to start their new married life together in Chicago finishing up their master’s degree.  We wish you both all the best and a wonderful future together.
