The Proposal:
Kenneth and Amanda met through church, they were friends for a long time before they realized it was the real thing! When asked about how the proposal happened, Amanda answered, “He set up time for us to go up to Mount Charleston. We hiked Mary Jane Falls and at the top we were taking pictures. As Kenn was setting up the time lapse on the camera, it ended up taking multiple shots. We decided to have fun with the ‘stop animation’ and did a bunch of goofy scenarios. I (Amanda) then said he should mock propose to me since our best friends were supposed to go hiking with us and didn’t. I specifically set it up for him and said I would turn around, he would tap me on the shoulder, and I would act all surprised. So I turned around, my back facing him, waiting to here the click on the camera. I felt him tap on my shoulders, but didn’t hear the click, so I said “you forgot to push the button”. He responded, “Just turn around”. I turned around to him down on one knee with a ring in his hand. My first words were “Are you kidding me”? Haha, then said to him, “Do you have something you want to ask me”?.

Unique touches at the wedding: Table number holders, painted wine bottles, cork holders for escort cards. Flowers were all silk due to an allergy to flowers. The groom rocked that orange vest!!
Memorable wedding moments:
- When Kenneth slid on his knees across the dance floor to remove the garter, he burnt a whole in his left knee and ruined both of his brand new shoes. We ended up having to buy the pair of pants as they were rented.
- Walking into the reception and seeing “Kettleson” in big lights on the dance floor and “i do”
- The ring bearer and the flower girls trying to make their way down the aisle and he took off as if in a race.
- Taking communion together in which our little cups were from Israel and were made out of real olive wood,
