Bridal Spectacular features a Las Vegas wedding captured by M Place Productions.
It was a match made in heaven! One afternoon, Julie’s colleague came into the teacher’s lounge where they both worked and handed her a paper with a phone number and the name Benoit on it. Julie started laughing and asked what it was. Her colleague said from all the stories that his mother had been sharing about him (who was the secretary at her husband’s work) that he and Julie would be great for each other. At that time, they were both dating, but neither of them was in a serious relationship. Since Julie really valued her colleague’s opinion, she gave Benoit a call a couple weeks later.
Benoit could not believe that his mom had given out his phone number, but luckily, his mom was right as he and Julie hit it off over the phone and agreed to meet in person. After a great first date, Julie decided to call Benoit and set up a second date. Benoit was surprised that she called because he thought she was out of his league, but in fact, Julie thought he was a really good catch. And, the couple has been together ever since!
Thank you both for letting Bridal Spectacular share this blog exclusive real wedding with our readers!
A Glimpse at Julie and Benoit’s Wedding
Julie and Benoit‘s wedding took place on June 24 at the MGM Grand Skyline Terrace Suite followed by cocktails at Mandarin Bar and dinner at Twist by Pierre Gagnaire. The couple said what made their wedding unique was that it was a 3-day destination wedding celebration in Las Vegas (where Julie’s twin sister lived). Julie’s mother, siblings, nephew and nieces, and Benoit‘s close friends arrived on Wednesday night and the wedding festivities began on Thursday afternoon at Dream Car Racing.
“Race car driving was perfect and everybody loved the experience,” Julie shared. “Afterward, we met for cocktails and the rehearsal dinner at my twin sister’s house. She had the event catered by an Asian restaurant and rentals from Rebel Party. It was just perfect and the wedding was the following day. We rented the MGM Skyline Terrace Suite so after dinner and a limousine tour we could party on the terrace of the suite. We were also supposed to spend our wedding night there and everyone also had their own rooms in the hotel. However, when we made it to the bed, my mother and her four grand kids were all sleeping soundly, exhausted from all the festivities. We decided to sleep on the terrace under the night sky, but lo and behold, my matron of honor and her husband were sleeping soundly on the couches! So, we spent our wedding night on the living room couch of the suite!”
We hope you enjoy this glimpse of Julie and Benoit‘s eventful wedding as captured by M Place Productions!
