Bridal Spectacular features a Las Vegas wedding captured by Stephen Salazar Photography.

It is a serendipitous love story for a couple that was destined to be together! Kelsey and Duffie worked together for one year while teaching at a Las Vegas High School. Although they frequently ate lunch together, along with other teachers, they never hung out outside of school. Eventually, Kelsey changed schools and they did not keep in touch afterward. Three years later, Kelsey joined Match.com and found out that one of her daily matches was Duffie. Kelsey sent him an email and also texted a mutual friend letting her they were matched with each other. Her friend immediately texted him and set the couple up on their first date.

Two and a half years later, they planned a dinner at Grape Vine to celebrate Kelsey’s new job. After dinner, Duffie took Kelsey’s hand and started explaining how much she meant to him and how much he loved her. He then got down on one knee to propose and Kelsey started crying. She, of course, said, “Yes!” and the entire restaurant clapped and gave the couple champagne to celebrate!

To help plan their dream wedding, the couple attended one of our wonderful Bridal Spectacular shows to get them started. After all of their research, the couple selected Stephen Salazar Photography to capture their special day. Thank you both for letting Bridal Spectacular share your beautiful Las Vegas wedding with our readers.

A Glimpse at Kelsey and Duffie’s Wedding

As featured in the winter edition of Spectacular Bride Magazine, Kelsey and Duffie’s wedding took place on March 19 at TPC Summerlin. Duffie and the groomsmen all wore kilts featuring his family colors and wool socks. Kelsey walked down the aisle with her father while a bagpiper played in the background. The couple’s friends and family flew in from all over the country and world — none of which expected to see kilts and a bagpiper at a Las Vegas wedding. To top it off, Kelsey’s bouquet and garter belt incorporated Duffie’s kilt and the cake topper even had a kilt on the groom. Their wedding theme was flawless from start-to-finish!

We hope you enjoy this glimpse of Kelsey and Duffie’s magnificent wedding day as captured by Stephen Salazar Photography.
