The Wedding Attire

For the bride, consider wearing a winter white gown with vibrant red accents or silvers and blues that is reminiscent of the first winter snowfall! For your accessories, adorn yourself in that beautiful holiday sparkle with a pair of crystal-encrusted shoes, belt, jewelry, and a poinsettia or snowflake hairpiece. To keep you warm, consider wearing a fur wrap and silk elbow-length gloves for a truly winterized look.

For your fiancé and groomsmen, dress them in a winter white suite or tux with red accents. For the gals, outfit them in beautiful floor-length red dresses and the same fur wrap and gloves to keep your ladies warm as well. If you are opting for more of the winter look, you can have the guys wear blue and silver accents and the bridesmaids can dress in ice blue, silver or grey dresses.

Holiday Floral

For wedding flowers, think red, green, white, blue, and silver. You can include poinsettias, white calla lilies, and red and white roses or carnations ornamented with juniper branches, hypericum berries, pine cones, jewels, and other silver accents for a truly festive wedding bouquet and centerpieces.

Holiday Wedding Décor

For your ceremony, decorate your chairs with holiday themed covers and a red, white, silver or ice blue aisle runner topped with rose petals and snowflakes. Then you can garnish your aisle pieces and alter with garlands, twinkle lights, mistletoe, ornaments, or snowflakes.

For your reception, integrate your selected colors into the table linens, chair covers and sashes. Then enhance the room with garlands, twinkle lights, wreaths and of course a beautiful Christmas tree. Another great idea is to decorate the tables with silver chargers and sparkling floating candles along with your holiday centerpieces. You can use crystal or silver vases for the centerpieces and adorn them with juniper branches, snowflakes, or ornaments to add those final magical touches.

To incorporate even more holiday cheer, you can add the smell of fresh pines wafting throughout your venue and play holiday music as you and your guests celebrate into the night!

Don’t Forget the Treats!

For your wedding cake, you can embellish it with ornaments, berries, poinsettias, pine cones and ribbon. Or, you can it one step take further and transform your cake into a three-tiered gift box, an oversized ornament, or a stunning winter wonderland with silver frosting and snowflakes. Also consider providing additional dessert options, such as holiday themed cake pops, cookies and cupcakes and classic holiday libations like eggnog and cider.

Finally for your wedding favors, give your guests wintry treats like an s’mores kit and hot cocoa that they can enjoy over an open fire!
