One of the exciting new features to be seen while attending The Bridal Spectacular is a beautiful Vintage wedding gown collection, from the 40’s to the 80’s. My daughter, Laura and I were recently in South Carolina and browsing the antique stores when we discovered this treasure of about 10 vintage dresses and veils. The gowns were unique and elegant and some of them are definitely influencing today’s styles like the Ballerina length dresses. We enjoyed so much seeing the gowns that were worn by the women of the past and imagining the history behind each dress that we thought it would be something you would enjoy too. We purchased the gowns and are in the process of putting together a display of them for you. Make sure you don’t miss this Vintage display at the show, bring your mom along, she will enjoy it too!
The dress in the photo was actually purchased online from VintageVixen. It is a dress from the 40’s and I fell in love with the veil because it was like my mothers which was destroyed many years ago.
