The Wedding Experience at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa

The Associate Director of Catering Sales, Nicole Mehlhaff said the JW Marriott Las Vegas offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor settings to reflect the beauty of your special day. She said their passion is to work with their couples to find out what they envision their wedding to be and then Nicole and her team create a customized wedding package that is unique to the couple’s own style. Both the ceremony and reception can be conducted on-site with a fluid transition between each event, and there are also all-inclusive wedding packages available that range from $115-$200 per person.

To help make the wedding experience even better, the JW Marriott Las Vegas also offers a variety of amenities for the couple and their guests. Nicole said a courtesy room block and rate is provided for out-of-town guests without having to commit to purchasing an entire room block, and a complimentary suite is included for the bride and groom on their wedding night! In addition, the resort offers complimentary valet parking on a gratuity basis and personal concierge services can be arranged in advance to provide welcome amenities, transportation services and activities for families. There is also a complimentary shuttle that takes hotel guests back and forth to the Las Vegas Strip.

Nicole also shared with us that if requested, they offer assistance with on-site bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, group spa appointments and post reception brunches that can be coordinated through a couple’s designated Wedding Event Manager.

During your wedding planning, Nicole recommended that when you are researching your vendors, make sure they have a business license and insurance and also check out reviews from other couples online before you commit.

And finally for the latest wedding trends, Nicole said they are still seeing a lot of couples select food stations for their meal, and many couples have been incorporating bistro lighting, signature drinks and unique ways to design their guestbook to make their wedding more fun!
