In just two days, thousands of brides, grooms, family, and friends joined us at Cashman Convention Center for our 2015 Autumn Bridal Spectacular Veils and Vino Show on August 21 and 22. With everyone having such a great time, we decided to speak to a few of the excited couples to find out what their favorite part of the show was.
We first spoke with bride-to-be Katie, who is getting married on April 2, 2016 at the stunning Canyon Gate Country Club. Katie came to the show with her mom and bridesmaids and said her favorite part was seeing all of the beautiful tablescapes and décor, as well as the variety of photographers she was able to speak to. Congratulations Katie!
As we strolled down the aisle, we ran into Jackie who was there with her fiancé and one of her bridesmaids. Jackie is getting married on May 6, 2016 and was at the show getting ideas for her wedding. Along with all of the great inspiration and ideas they received, Jackie said her other favorite part of the show was the bar and having fun — and we can certainly cheers to that!
Next, we had the opportunity to speak with three great brides-to-be, Marie, Monique and Christina. Marie is getting married next June in California, Monique is getting married in Las Vegas and is still determining her date and location, and Christina is getting married this October at the swanky Artisan Hotel. They all agreed that their favorite part of the show was all of the delicious cake and twirl cotton candy tastings. Congratulations to all three you!
Later, we chatted with Charlene and her wonderful groom-to-be. This beautiful couple is getting married in April 2016 and was at the show looking for their wedding venue and to get ideas. They also said their favorite part of the event was all of the food and dessert tastings that were available — and who could blame them! Congrats to you both!
As we headed over to try some of these tasty treats ourselves, we ran into Maria and Alvin. These two lovebirds are getting married in Las Vegas in July 2016 and were at the show looking for a venue, vendors and decor ideas. They also said their favorite part of the event was all of the cake and dessert samples, as well as the different photo booth companies. We wish you all the best with the remainder of your wedding planning!
Lastly, we spoke with bride-to-be Kat and her fiancé Omar, and then bride-to-be Maria. Kat and Omar are getting married on March 5, 2016, and said their favorite part of the show was getting to speak with so many vendors one-on-one and, of course, all of those sweet treats. Maria (posing in the photo with my lovely blogging assistant/husband), is getting married in Las Vegas next year and said her favorite part of the event was the incredible fashion show and all of the gorgeous dresses on display. Congratulations to you all!
