In just two days, local wedding planning couples and their families joined us at Cashman Convention Center for our 2015 Winter Bridal Spectacular Show on January 16 and 17. With so much to see and everyone having such a great time, we spoke to a few of the excited couples to find out what their favorite part of the show was!
We first spoke with bride-to-be Donna, who is getting married in April 2016. Donna came to the show with one of her bridesmaids and good friends. She’s in the beginning stages of planning her wedding and said her favorite part of the show was the ability to compare all the different companies and pricing all in one place. Though she hasn’t made any final decisions yet, Donna said she really enjoyed PaperFlowersGirls and Mad Batter Café & Bakery. Congratulations Donna!
As we strolled down the aisle, we ran into three brides-to-be, Megan, Lisa and Brittany. Megan and Lisa are also in the beginning planning stages and said they enjoyed the various tastings throughout the show and being able to see all the great wedding ideas and themes. They also said they really liked all of the different photo booths companies. Brittany, who was also there with her fiancé, is getting married in San Diego this May. She was looking at companies to help with the finishing touches for her wedding, including registries, party buses, and invitations. Her favorite companies were Visionary Pen and Paper and Home. We hope all three of you have an amazing wedding!
Next, we had the opportunity to speak with Alisha and her wonderful fiancé, who are getting married on November 15 at Rainbow Gardens. She was at the show looking for ideas and themes for her big day and to also find her wedding gown. Alisha said she really liked David’s Bridal and Alfred Angelo and was booking her appointments right at the show. She also mentioned that she really enjoyed all of the great discounts companies were providing couples exclusively at the show. Congratulations to you both!
Lastly, we spoke with two VIB Brides, Britney and Courtney with the Matron of Honor for both weddings! Courtney is getting married May 23 in Las Vegas and Brittney is getting married on July 18 in Texas. Their favorite part of the show was seeing all the beautiful gowns and bridesmaid dresses during the fashion show. They also enjoyed getting to taste all of the delicious food, cake and dessert samples, which their favorite was the edible glitter cotton candy from B Sweet! They said their favorite companies were David’s Bridal and RED Makeup Design. Good luck with the rest of your planning ladies!
