A quintessential love story, but with a Las Vegas twist. Karin and Michael met while they were working — but in true Las Vegas fashion, she was performing in a show and he was working behind-the-scenes. Then after dating for a bit, Michael decided he was going to propose to Karin while they were out one night at Surrender Nightclub inside Encore Hotel. Michael had arranged to have the music stop and a spotlight directed on him and Karin as he proposed, but unfortunately it took the club too long to set up and he finally just asked her without all the extras. Michael had also arranged to have their good friends there with them to make the night even more special. Needless to say, Karin of course said yes!

To begin their wedding planning, Karin and Michael attended one of our fantastic Bridal Spectacular shows to help get them started. After all of their research, they chose to get married at the stunning Spanish Trail Country Club and selected Photos By Larotonda to document their remarkable day.

A Glimpse at Karin and Michael’s Wedding

Karin and Michael’s wedding on September 29, 2013 began with an exquisite outdoor ceremony with Spanish Trail’s glistening lake in the backdrop. After the ceremony, they moved indoors to the Club House for their elegant reception. Adorned with pearl white linens and Tiffany Blue chair sashes, magnificent floral centerpieces, a picture-perfect wedding cake and spectacular blue uplighting throughout the venue, Karin and Michael’s wedding décor was utterly breathtaking.

The couple said what made their wedding so special were all the personal touches they integrated. For example, Karin’s father-in-law officiated their wedding and they also added a wine box ceremony that they could look forward to viewing again in five years. Karin added that they would love to do it all over again. “All of our vendors and planners did such an amazing job and were so professional that our day went off without a hitch. And, all of our guests had an amazing time as well. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
