We at Bridal Spectacular wanted to get a closer look at the wonderful wedding experience at Brio, so we teamed up with the venue’s Banquet Manager, Nova Scialabba to provide couples with an inside look.
Bridal Spectacular: What about Brio would you like to highlight to couples?
Nova: At Brio, food and celebration go hand-in-hand! After all, a special day requires a special place. We pride ourselves in providing our guests with affordable and authentic Tuscan cuisine using only the finest and freshest ingredients delivered daily. Not only is our food quality unmatched, but so are our prices. Many of our guests are pleased to know that we do not charge a rental fee for our event spaces, hold a deposit for any event or even require a food and beverage minimum. Here at Brio, we do the planning so you can do the impressing and focus on the more important things on your wedding day.
Bridal Spectacular: What additional wedding services do you offer?
Nova: We help our guests get the best floral arrangements for their events and make sure we pair them with the best bakeries in town.
Bridal Spectacular: How do you help a couple create their perfect wedding?
Nova: It begins with trust. Our guests know that they can trust us and we are truly honored to plan and celebrate such an incredible life event with them. When a couple knows we care, they’ll open up and that’s when we can do what we do best. It’s at that moment we are able to meet their needs and surpass all their expectations.
Bridal Spectacular: What are your top tips to couples during their overall vendor search and wedding planning?
Nova: First, have fun and don’t let stress rob you of your joy. Never let a “something” distract you from your “someone.”
Second, make all inquiries over the phone and not via email. Why? You can get a much better sense of someone’s character and personality over the phone than with a simple email reply. Don’t be afraid to have several conversations with possible vendors prior to making a commitment.
Finally, ask questions. Lots of them. The more information you have, the more informed you will be and the better quality decisions you will be able to make. If someone is getting agitated by all your questions, that’s a huge red flag. I’d move on.
Bridal Spectacular: What are the current trends you’ve been seeing with weddings?
Nova: The biggest trend that we have seen are brides taking popular color schemes or trending décor and attire and infusing them with their own personality. A little too vague of an answer? Nah. Trends here at Brio are consistently inconsistent, and we like that. I just think it’s further proof that brides know what they want more than ever before and aren’t limiting themselves to what is trending.
Bridal Spectacular: Anything else you would like to highlight or share about weddings at Brio?
