The golf resort’s private banquet room resembles a neutral canvas with subtle hues—taupe, grey and chocolate colors that will satisfy every seasonal reception theme.
“I have a passion for weddings and I wanted to share that passion with the brides. I wanted the brides to open those doors and say, Wow! I want that!” says Gordon.”
For Gordon, the wow factor came after a complete renovation of Bear’s banquet room that took approximately six months to complete. The 4,000 square-foot room had not seen the light-of-chic since 2001 and was in need of a complete makeover from stem to stern. “We started with replacing the carpet, adjusted the light beams, installed mirrors-that now cover the entire south side of the room, incorporated pendant lighting, installed two heightened high-definition plasma TV screens, and added Italian tile to the ceiling giving it a more contemporary look.” says Gordon.
Gordon’s vision was simple, to turn an almost outdated space into a stunning, jaw-dropping reception hall with a modern relevant and romantic tone that would resonate throughout each and every wedding. Equally as important is the one-of-a-kind panoramic view that has surrounded Bear’s Best for years and will for years to come, “There is no other venue in town that can boast about this amazing view, and it’s all ours!” says Gordon.
Lucky for us, Gordon is all ours! Come and meet Gordon at the next Bridal Spectacular—where Las Vegas weddings are planned.
